HFC Youth Trials head to north-east India with Aizawl and Imphal trials starting next week
Hyderabad: After kicking off trials this week in their home city of Hyderabad, ISL club Hyderabad FC are now set to conduct Youth Trials for their U18 and Reserve teams in the north-eastern states of Mizoram (April 14-16) and Manipur (April 19-22) in the second phase starting next week.
In line with the club’s efforts to promote emerging young talent in the Deccan region and in the country, these trials are limited to the Under-18 squad and HFC’s Reserve team.
The Trials will be headed by HFC’s First Team Assistant Coach and Technical Director (Youth), Thangboi Singto alongside U18 and Reserves’ coach C. Shameel.
The Trial dates for the respective age-category teams along with their year of birth cut-offs are as below:
Aizawl, Mizoram
- Under-18: Born in 2004, 2005, 2006 – Wednesday, April 14th
- Reserves: Born in 2001, 2002, 2003 – Thursday, April 15th
A final round will be conducted for ONLY the shortlisted players on Friday 16th April.
Venue: Rajiv Gandhi Stadium, Mualpui, Aizawl
Reporting Time: 7:30 am
Registrations Close: 10:00 am
Imphal, Manipur
- Under-18: Born in 2004, 2005, 2006 – Monday, April 19th
- Reserves: Born in 2001, 2002, 2003 – Tuesday, April 20th
A final round will be conducted for ONLY the shortlisted players on Wednesday 21st April.
Venue: Artificial Turf Langjing Achouba
Reporting Time: 7:30 am
Registrations Close: 10:00 am
All the players attending these trials are required to report at the venue sharp on time, on the respective dates as per the age groups.
As a precaution, all COVID 19 protocols will be in place for these trials and all the participants are expected to strictly stick to these norms. Like at most public places, wearing masks is mandatory here as well.
All the participants are also advised to carry their full football kit along with their personal water bottles and snacks to the venue.
Note: The players attending these trials are asked to carry along two passport size photos, the copy of their Birth Certificate and the copy of Aadhar Card or the Passport.

- Represented National/Youth Team(s)
- Represented State/Youth Teams(s)
- Played in AIFF Youth / Other AIFF Recognised Leagues /Tournaments (Subroto Cup etc.)
