Laxmikant Kattimani stood tall and showed his experience, pulling out seven important saves to keep his side on top and helped us take all three points from this game.
14 Chances
We created 14 chances on the night and could have easily scored more than four. Lluis Sastre and Halicharan Narzary created four chances each and were constantly troubling the NEU backline.
11 Touches
Goa-born Liston Colaco handed us the most surprising stat of them all. He had just 11 touches of the ball but scored twice and handed his side a crucial victory over the Highlanders.
6 Goals
Aridane Santana has been in fine form in front of goal and now has six goals to his name from nine games. Only Igor Angulo from FC Goa has scored more goals than the Spaniard who will look to keep up the good run.
12 Crosses
We threatened from the flanks all evening with 12 crosses. Halicharan Narzary, Lluis Sastre and Ashish Rai had 10 crosses amongst them. NorthEast United, who favour wing-play, could only manage 8 of them on Friday.
13 Clearances
Hyderabad FC full-backs not only picked up an assist each in the game, they also were effective at the back. Asish Rai (6) and Akash Mishra (7) made 13 clearances amongst them in the game and were crucial in keeping the visitors away from goal on Friday.
