The versatile defender will add solidity to the HFC backline

Hyderabad: Hyderabad FC have completed the signing of defender Parag Shrivas, the club announced on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old is an experienced campaigner and will be a solid addition to the young squad at Hyderabad.

The Maharashtra-born midfielder has been playing the sport ever since he was seven and dint take too long to turn it into a profession.

Parag was selected to represent the country in a zonal competition by the Bajaj Allianz Junio football camp back in 2013.

He joined the reserve team at Bengaluru and rose through the ranks to be a mainstay in the senior squad since 2018.

Parag has since made 49 league appearances, also winning the Durand Cup in 2021 with the Blues.

He is strong and sturdy at the back and will be a crucial part of the squad at Hyderabad FC for the new season.
