The Nawabs failed to find the back of the net on a tough night at the Maidaan
Hyderabad: Hyderabad FC fell to a tough 0-2 defeat against Mohun Bagan at the Maidaan on Wednesday.
Goals from Manvir Singh (37β) and Subhasish Bose (55β) in either half saw the Mariners register their fourth win of the season.
Abdul Rabeeh and Ramhlunchhunga were both on fire on the wings and won close to ten fouls together, creating quite a few half chances.
Cy Goddard, Allan Paulista and Andrei Alba also had their moments but failed to find the final pass or the back of the net.
It was Baganβs first real chance that gave them the lead. Manvir was sent on his way with a through ball on the counter and he opened the scoring for the visitors.

Bose rose high in the second half from a Greg Stewart free-kick to double the lead.
But Hyderabad kept pushing, and hit the post, but had to settle for a defeat in the end.
Stefan Sapic, Alex Saji, Muhammed Rafi and Parag Shrivas also held their own for most of the game.
But it was an unlucky night for Hyderabad, who will look to bounce back in the next game.
Hyderabad are back in action when they travel to Kochi to take on Kerala Blasters on Thursday, Nov 7.
