Young Nawabs up against experienced Blues at Kanteerava
Hyderabad: After a solid effort against East Bengal at home last weekend, the young guns of Hyderabad FC are back in action this weekend.
They are on the road for Saturday, as they travel to Sree Kanteerava Stadium to take on Bengaluru FC on February 24.
The reverse fixture between the two sides ended in a 1-1 draw in Hyderabad earlier this season but both teams have since had plenty of changes to their set-ups, going into this game.
The likes of Javi Hernandez, Sunil Chhetri and Ryan Williams have all struggled for consistency this season, but are match-winners on their day.
The defensive duo of Chinglensana Konsham and Nikhil Poojary are expected to feature against their former side but BFC will miss the services of key midfielder Suresh Wangjam, who is out suspended. The hosts will also miss the presence of new Coach Gerard Zaragoza who serves a one-game touchline ban.

Hyderabad are also without the duo of Joao Victor and Alex Saji, both of who picked red cards in their last game against EBFC.
But the likes of Makan Chothe, Ramhlunchhunga, Abdul Rabeeh, Mark Zothanpuia and Muhammed Rafi have all been impressive in what is a young squad with not much experience.
Interestingly, the hosts could have up to six former HFC stars in the matchday squad for this weekend, in what is expected to be a testing affair for both sides.
Both teams are struggling at the wrong end of the table and will hope to put in a solid performance and claim a positive result this weekend.
The game kicks-off at 7:30 pm IST on Saturday, February 24, and will be telecasted live on Sports 18 and VH1, with free streaming on Jio Cinema.
