One of the most exciting youngsters currently turning eyeballs at Hyderabad FC is young Lalchungunga Chhangte. The pace winger made a name for himself in the domestic leagues in Mizoram, his home town and has started to impress everytime he takes the field. He was an integral part of the Hyderabad FC reserve team last season, where he registered 7 goals and 6 assists all season, and was also named the Player of the Tournament in the CEM Gold Cup 2021. First team Head Coach Manolo Marquez was impressed by Chhangte’s quality and called him up to the first team ahead of the 2022-23 campaign and Chhangte is now a part of the HFC squad for the Durand Cup and the new ISL campaign.
