A product of the J & K State Academy, Sajad Hussain Parray is one of the most highly-rated youngsters in the Indian domestic circuit. Born and brought up in Jammu and Kashmir, Sajad is a versatile defender who can play as a center-back or as a full-back. He started his career with the U15 I-League and plied his trade in the state leagues throughout his teenage. His efforts saw him make the team for the U15 SAFF Championship in 2018 where he made a name for himself with some impressive performances.. Sajad then went on to play in Dubai, South Africa and Malaysia with the India U16s, before signing for the Indian Arrows in 2020. He spent a couple of seasons in the I-League, making it to the U20 SAFF Championship-winning team in 2022. Sajad has also played in the U20 AFC Qualifiers in Kuwait before joining Hyderabad FC in late 2022. He spent the last season on loan at Gokulam Kerala and is now a part of the first team at Hyderabad FC first team, making his ISL debut against FC Goa on Feb1.
