Born and brought up in Ernakulam, Soyal Joshy is a gifted full-back who started off as a professional footballer at the age of 11. He gathered valuable experience playing for the likes of Al-Azhar Football Club, Don Bosco Football Academy, SEALAND, Prodigy Sportz as a teenager and has since grown into one of the most well-rounded full-backs in the country. In 2022 so far, Soyal won the Kerala Premier League with Golden Threads FC and the Santosh trophy with the Kerala state team, putting in some impressive performances throughout the year. A right-back by trait, Soyal spent a season training with the first team before being sent our on loan in search of game time. The defender was on loan with Bengaluru United in I-League 2 and but is now back with the first team at Hyderabad FC, where he could be a crucial squad player for the Nawabs in the 2024-25 campaign.
