One of the most reputed and experienced coaches in Indian football, Thangboi Singto has been a part of the Indian football community for over a decade now. Having mentored some of the finest youngsters in Indian football, the 46-year-old began his coaching journey at the top level with Shillong Lajong in 2009 and was named the head coach for the club in 2013. He worked with NorthEast United in the inaugural edition of the Indian Super League and has since spent time with Kerala Blasters and Odisha FC gaining even more experience. Coach Thangboi joined Hyderabad FC in 2020, and was a part of the title-winning squad in 2021-22 season. He acted as the Technical Director (Youth) at HFC and was the Head Coach of the side in the 2023-24 season. His HFC side created history last season, becoming the first all-Indian contingent to win a league game in the ISL. In December 2024 the club and the coach mutually parted ways.
