Born and bought up in Kannur, Kerala, Sourav K is a pacey winger, one of many exciting talents coming in from the Malabar coast. The 23-year old is a versatile wing-man, who is not only adaptive with his attacking play, but is also equally responsible with the defensive side of his game. Having already made his way to the India U23 squad, Sourav is also an I-League winner with Gokulam Kerala, where he has five goals and three assists in 40 league games. He has played in the AFC Cup, the Durand Cup and the Super Cup, and is now foraying into the Indian Super League for the first time. Having impressed plenty in his early days with the Yellow and Black, Sourav is an exciting prospect for the fans to look out for in the new season.
