Coming from the South East coast of Brazil is our latest overseas addition to the squad, Andrei Alba. The 29-year-old started his career at the famous Gremio academy and first made a senior appearance in the Brazil Serie A with Chapeco club Chapecoense. Alba has since spent time with various clubs in various divisions in Brazil, making a name for himself as a ‘tempo-controlling’ midfielder. Slick with his touch, swift with his turns, Alba is an exciting midfielder with plenty of technical ability on show. He spent the last season in Albania with Erzeni and was a regular in the first team, playing in the second division. He has the Catarinense 1, Catarinense 2, and the Brasiliense A trophies to his name and will surely be a fan favourite with the Yellow and Black this season.
