An athletic shot-stopper, who started his youth career with the AIFF Elite Academy, Anuj Kumar started his ISL journey with FC Pune City in 2017. He impressed at the club as a part of the youth sides and has been with Hyderabad FC since 2019. He spent the latter half of the 2019-20 season with the Indian Arrows before joining Hyderabad FC’s senior side. He spent a season on loan with Aizawl but returned to HFC for the 2022-23 campaign, making his ISL debut for the club. Anuj featured in every competition for the club last season and will hope to break into the Starting XI regularly for the 2023-24 campaign.
