One of the most exciting additions to the Hyderabad FC squad ahead of the 2024-25 campaign is attacker Cy Goddard. A silky and smart customer, Goddard is a hard-working attacker, who has the ability to create and score in the final third. The London-born winger spent his early days with the Tottenham Hotspur academy, developing his skills in the U18 and U21 sides in his home-town. The 27-year-old has since played in Italy, Cypriot, Australia and the USA. Born to a Japanese mother, Goddard has represented Japan at the U16 level scoring two goals in 8 games while also featuring in successful spells in India too. Goddard did the double in the ISL with Mumbai City and has one goal and five assists in 33 league appearances. He spent the last season with Odisha FC, where he scored in their AFC Cup campaign and now spearhead the Hyderabad FC attack in the upcoming campaign.
