One of the most decorated players in the Indian football circuit, Karanjit Singh Parmar joins the Yellow and Black for the 2024-25 season. The 38-year-old started his career in Punjab playing for Jagatjit Cotton Textile in the NFL and the I-League for six seasons. He joined Salgaocar in 2010 and was a part of the I-League winning team in his debut season. He also won the Federation Cup that season and went on to lift the Durand Cup too with the Goan giants. He moved to the Indian Super League with Chennaiyin FC and was a part of both the title-winning teams, playing crucial roles for the South Indian side’s triumph in 2015 and 2018. He also featured for the Kerala Blasters in the top flight and is a respected and celebrated figure the sport in our country. Karanjit has also served his nation, making 17 appearances on his way to winning the SAFF Championship twice and the Nehru Cup between 2011 and 2014. He adds plenty of experience to the squad and will be a serious addition to the goal keepers’ union at Hyderabad FC.
