A Mizoram-born defender who can play across the backline, Danmawia started his career with the local leagues in his home town where he impressed the HFC scouts as a youngster. The 19-year-old was snapped up by the Nawabs, and Danmawia soon became a regular part of the reserve side, putting in some solid performances all over the field. His exploits saw him called up to be a part of first-team training at HFC, and the youngster was then named in the squad for the 2023 Durand Cup. Danmawia got 137 minutes of Durand Cup action and plenty of training sessions with the senior side but was back on loan with Aizawl in search of regular game time. Danmawia produced some excellent performances in domestic competitions and is now back with Hyderabad, hoping to play a crucial part in the defensive unit at the club, ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.
