One of the most experienced additions to the Hyderabad FC squad, ahead of the new Indian Super League season, Lenny Rodrigues, will be a crucial part of the squad for the Nawabs. The 37-year-old has been in Indian football close to two decades now. Lenny started out with Fransa-Pax, a local club in Goa, before moving to Salgaocar and then to Churchill Brothers, starting his I-League journey back in 2008. He has since won the I-League twice, the Federation Cup thrice and the Super Cup twice and the Durand Cup, and has an ISL Shield winners medal too, in club football. Lenny also featured for the National Team, lifting the Nehru Cup in 2012, and finishing SAFF Championship runners-up in 2013. He has 159-league appearances in the ISL, and will be the ‘leader of the pack’ fir the Nawabs in the upcoming campaign.
