Rashid is one of many stars from Kerala, making their mark in the top flight of Indian football recently. The 23-year-old is a silly midfielder who has impressed everywhere he has played. Having started his career with TFA Trikaripur, Rashid announced himself to Indian football with him effective performance in the Santosh Trophy with Kerala, where he was the mainstay in the team. His performances saw him introduced to ISL with Hyderabad FC last season. Rashid made his debut in February and has only grown in stature ever since. He is a part of the senior side this season too, and will hope to impress coach Thangboi Singto to try and break into the starting XI in this young HFC side.
