Known for his versatility and ability to control the tempo of the game, Tavora spent his youth career with Brasil Futebol Academia and Sesa Football Academy. During this time, he also attended a training camp with Liverpool FC back in 2007. He joined the Indian Super League with FC Goa in 2016 and scored twice in six games in his debut season in the league. He also played for Mumbai City FC before joining SC Alvarenga in Portugal where he was a regular in the first team, making 26 league appearances for the club. He moved back to India with Hyderabad FC in 2019 and has since been a trusted force in the midfield. Even under Manolo Marquez, he was a crucial member of the squad that went on to be the Champions, while he registered a late equalizer in the finals of the 2021-22 campaign. Tavora signed a contract extension with Hyderabad since, and was crucial in the 2nd placed finish in the ISL last season. Tavora made 27 appearances across all competitions last season and will hope for another impactful time in the 2023-24 campaign
