One of the most impressive Indian youngsters on show in the SAFF U19 Championship recently, Vijay is a tough and hard-working defender, who has already showcased his ability at the youth stage. He joined the Hyderabad FC camp in 2023, and has since been promoted to the first team,  training under coach Thangboi Singto. Vijay continues to work hard in training and will hope to have a break through season with the young HFC side, going into the 2024-25 campaign.
