Hyderabad FC B, Peerless SC play out a 1-1 draw

HFC B pick up one point from two games in IFA Shield

Hyderabad FC’s reserve side ended their group stage campaign in the 2021 IFA Shield with a 1-1 draw against Peerless SC at the Naihati Stadium in West Bengal on Tuesday.

The Kolkata-based side opened the scoring at the fag end of the first half thanks to a long ranger from Harsha Parui. Lalchungnunga Chhangte won a penalty for HFC B, which he later converted in the 81st minute for the equalizer. The likes of Mohammad Rafi and Rohlupuia also came close but both teams could only take a point from this clash.

Hyderabad FC B’s qualification for the IFA Shield Pre-QuarterFinal Knockout Stage now depends on the result of the final game in Group B between Aryan Club and Peerless SC, who play on December 3.
