Manolo Marquez’s side kick-off their campaign against Aizawl FC on Sunday
Hyderabad: After missing out on a spot in the Hero ISL final at the end of an impressive campaign, Hyderabad FC will look to make a mark in their first-ever appearance in the Hero Super Cup kicking off in Kerala this week.
Manolo Marquez’s side were drawn in Group B of the competition alongside fellow ISL teams Odisha FC and East Bengal FC. The trio are joined by I-League side Aizawl FC, who beat TRAU FC in the qualifier earlier this week.
This will be HFC’s first-ever campaign in the Hero Super Cup with most of the players set to make their debut in the competition in Kerala.
All the Group B fixtures will be played at the Payyanad Stadium in Manjeri and Hyderabad FC will hope to put in a strong performance and go deep in the competition.
Hyderabad FC also announced their 25-man squad that will travel to Kerala this week, with Joao Victor continuing to lead the side.
