Hyderabad defeated in Bhubaneswar

Two quick first-half goals leave the Nawabs with a tough loss

Bhubaneswar: Hyderabad FCā€™s trip to the Kalinga Stadium ended in a 3-0 loss on Sunday. Roy Krishna (35ā€™) and Mourtada Fall (40ā€™) scored just before the break before the former added another late in the game (90+5ā€™) as Hyderabad failed to find the back of the net and came out of the game without a point.

Mohammad Yasir, Petteri Pennanen and Joe Knowles had their moments in attack but did not test Amrinder on goal enough. Nim Dorjee Tamang, Nikhil Poojary and Mark Zothganpuia were superb, pulling out goal-saving blocks but it was Odisha who ran out winners on the night.

Hyderabad now go ten games without a win, and will end the year with a home clash when Jamshedpur come visiting to the Gachibowli on Thursday, December 21.
