Correia joins Coach Thangboi’s side as fifth overseas signing
Hyderabad: Hyderabad FC have completed the signing of attacker Edmilson Correia, the club announced on the festive Diwali night.
The 24-year-old will join the squad at HFC as the fifth foreign player and will add more goals to the attack.
Born and brought up in Bissau, Correia is a quick and agile winger, who will trouble even the best of defenders in the country.
He started his professional career in France with Ligue 1 side St Etienne and made his Ligue 1 debut as a teenager.

He spent four season, with the senior and the B side and has 12 goals in less than 50 appearances in four years in France, where he made a name for himself as a natural goal scorer.
He moved to Qatar with Al Bidda SC, where he smashed five goals in just 11 games last season.
A versatile attacker who can play across the front line, Correia and his composure in front of goal are much needed for this HFC side, who have failed to score in four of their six league games so far.
Correia will be the first Guinea Bissau player to feature for the Yellow and Black and promises to be an entertainer for the HFC faithful.
