Hyderabad sign Brazilian forward Allan Paulista

The 25-year-old will be HFCโ€™s No. 9 for the new season

Hyderabad: Hyderabad FC have completed the signing of Brazilian striker Allan Paulista, the club announced on Monday.

Allan De Souza Miranda, popularly known as Allan Paulista, is a natural goalscorer and will join Hyderabad as their second overseas signing of the new season.

The 25-year-old started his career in the lower leagues in Brazil and has shown a keen eye for goal at every club he played.

He is a strong and smart striker, who can score different kinds of goals, as he has shown in his time in his home country.

Allan impressed in Serie D in Brazil last season, before being snapped up by Chinese League One outfit Heilongjiang Ice City in January.

The striker registered four goals and two assists in just nine league starts before the end of the campaign and will join the Yellow and Black as their youngest-ever overseas recruitment.

He now joins Thangboi Singtoโ€™s side as the second foreign signing, as they prepare for a testing 2024-25 campaign.
