Hyderabad all set to host Odisha

The Nawabs will look to build on their win over Kerala in last game

Hyderabad: After an eventful international break, the Yellow and Black are back in action at the Maidaan this Monday.

Hyderabad host Odisha FC in what promises to be an exciting encounter at the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium in Gachibowli on Monday, Nov 25.

The Nawabs registered their second away win of the season before the break, beating Kerala Blasters with a solid performance.

Odisha are fresh from a hard-fought draw against the Mariners.

However, Sergio Loberaโ€™s side have won none of their last three games and will travel to Hyderabad in search of all three points.

The likes of Ahmed Jahouh, Hugo Boumous, Roy Krishna, Diego Mauricio, Mourtada Fall and Carlos Delgado are all seasoned stars in the ISL and know how to get results against the tough sides.

Rahim Ali and Isak Vanlalruatfela have also been effective on the wings and could play a crucial role in this game.

HFC Head Coach Thangboi Singto said that his side needs to be at the top of their game to get a positive result on Monday.

โ€œOdisha have one of the most experienced group of foreign players in the league this season,โ€ said Coach Thangboi.

โ€œThey have a really good coach who knows how to win and we know we have to fight really hard for the three points in this game,โ€ he added.

Hyderabad FC, who are slowly gaining some momentum, gave it their all to register all three points in Kochi.

Andrei Alba, Allan Paulista, Stefan Sapic, Edmilson Correia and Cy Goddard have all settled in well at the club.

The likes of Alex Saji, Muhammed Rafi, Abdul Rabeeh, Ramhlunchhunga, Isaac Vanmalsawma and Lalbiakhlua Jongte have all stuck to their task and will hope to put in a strong performance against the Juggernauts in this game.

Hyderabad will look to build on the momentum from their previous result and coach Thangboi urged his side to do the same.

โ€œWe need to have a strong mentality going into this game,โ€ he said.

โ€œThe target is to focus on our own game and to continue to believe in ourselves and give our best against Odisha,” he added.

The Nawabs can leapfrog Odisha in the points table with a positive result and will hope to give their best in search of the three points.

The game kicks-off at 7:30pm IST on Monday, November 25, and will be telecasted live on Sports 18 and Asianet with free streaming on Jio Cinema.
