Nawabs fail to make most of chances; fall to 2-0 defeat
Hyderabad: The young Hyderabad FC side put in another strong performance in the Indian Super League clash against Punjab FC at the Gachibowli Stadium in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Luka Majcen (45+1’) and Mehdi Talal (56’) were on the scoresheet for the visitors who registered all three points on the night.
Hyderabad remain 12th in the league table after this defeat but have plenty of positives to take from.
Abdul Rabeeh, Makan Chothe, Ramhlunchhunga and Joseph Sunny went all out putting the Punjab backline under pressure for most of the night.

Mark Zothanpuia, Alex Saji, Muhammed Rafi and Laxmikant Kattimani also put in solid performances at the back but could not prevent the goals from Punjab’s foreign players.
Joao Victor in the middle was superb and also came close to scoring but it was another tough outing for the young Hyderabad side, who failed to find the back of the net.
They now have a few days of rest before they are back in action when they welcome the Highlanders to the Maidaan on Monday, March 4.
