Luka Majcenโs unlucky injury in the first game did not seem to deter their spirits. Punjab beat Odisha in the last game thanks to goals from Nihal Sudeesh and Leon Augustine.
Former HFC player Nikhil Prabhu has been impressive at the base of the midfield. The likes of Ivan Novoselec, Ezequiel Vidal, Filip Mrzljak and Mushaga Bakenga have done well so far in their first few games in India.
Thangboi Singtoโs young HFC side put in a solid performance against the Blues last week. However, they failed to convert chances and fell prey to late mistakes at the back in that 3-0 loss.
Devendra Murgaonkar, Ramhlunchhunga and Abdul Rabeeh were effective in attack but need to find the net to get their teams some points on the board.
Lenny Rodrigues was exceptional in the midfield while Cy Goddard will hope to have a better impact in this game.
Arshdeep Singh at the back, helped by Alex Saji and Muhammed Rafi, will hope to have a more secure game as HFC look for their first points of the new season, in the capital city.

Speaking to the media ahead of the game, Coach Thangboi said his team will have a tough time in Delhi.
โPunjab have started the season strongly. They have a new coach, but the core of the team has stayed and are playing really well,โ said Coach Thangboi.
It will not be an easy game for us, but we have a decent squad that is growing in confidence and we have to give the best we can and execute things in the best way possible,โ he added.
Hyderabad FC registered a point on their last trip to Delhi with a late goal. They will hope to put in a stronger performance against Punjab on Wednesday.
The game between Hyderabad and Punjab kicks off at 7:30pm IST on Wednesday, September 25, and will be telecasted live on Sports 18, with free streaming on Jio Cinema.
