A highly experienced goalkeeper, Kattimani has been an active part of Indian football for over a decade now. The shot-stopper gathered crucial experience as a part of the Indian U-23 side in the SAFF Cup 2009. A winner of two I-League titles (2009-10 & 2011-12) with Dempo SC, the Cansaulim-born custodian made his ISL debut with FC Goa in 2015. He played a key role in the Gaurs’ runners-up finish in the ISL in 2015 apart from winning the Super Cup in 2019. Kattimani was also part of the HFC’s inaugural season but picked up his first clean sheet last season, before ending the campaign with six shutouts. The 33-year-old turned out to be the saviour for HFC after his penalty shootout heroics helped the club to their first-ever trophy, beating the Blasters in the 2021-22 ISL final. Kattimani is now a senior pro in the squad but was unlucky to miss a large chunk of the previous season with a knee injury. Kattimani is now back fit and ready to give his best in the Yellow and Black in the new season.
