HFC continue search for first win when they take on Odisha in the ISL
Bhubaneswar: After a hard-fought point on their trip to Guwahati, Hyderabad FC continue their hectic travel schedule, when they take on Odisha FC at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar in their 10th league game of the season on Sunday, December 17.
The Nawabs are currently 12th in the league table, with just four points on board while the Juggernauts stand fifth in the league, with 14 points from eight games.
Sergio Lobera’s side are unbeaten in their last four league games, and have lost just two games so far this season. They are fresh from a historic victory in the south zone of the AFC Cup but will want to continue their good run in this tricky fixture.
The likes of Ahmed Jahouh, Mourtada Fall, Roy Krishna and Carlos Delgado have been in fine form while, Amey Ranawade, Khawlhring Lalthathanga and Isak have been on top of their game so far this season.

Diego Mauricio will miss this game due to suspension while Cy Goddard is doubtful, however, Hyderabad need to be at their best to take a positive result from this game.
Thangboi Singto’s side showed character to come back from behind away from home in Guwahati, to register a point in the last game.
Gurmeet Singh on goal, Chinglensana Konsham, Nim Dorjee Tamang and Nikhil Poojary at the back have all been excellent and will have their work cut out against an exciting Odisha FC side.
But it is the likes of Petteri Pennanen, Mohammad Yasir, Makan Chothe, Ramhlunchhunga and Joe Knowles, who need to convert their chances if Hyderabad are to take anything from this game.
Aaren D’Silva and Anuj Kumar remain on the sidelines but Coach Thangboi will hope that his team has the strength and character to put in a strong performance, in what will be their seventh game away game and their eight outing away from Hyderabad this season.
The game kicks off at 8:00 pm IST on Sunday, December 10, and will be telecasted live on Sports 18 and VH1, with free streaming on Jio Cinema.
