Born and brought up in Bissau, Edmilson Indjai Correia is a naturally gifted footballer, who is a treat to watch in full flow. The 24-year-old is a quick and agile winger, who will keep the defenders in ISL on their toes this season. Having started his career locally, Correia moved to France with St Etienne in 2019, joining the academy. He soon broke into the first team and made his Ligue 1 debut just months later, and also has a goal to his name in the French top flight. He spent four seasons at the club, also scoring 11 goals in 41 appearances for the St Etienne B side. He moved out of France and joined Al Bidda SC in Qatar last year. Correia scored five goals in just 11 games for the club last season and has already introduced himself to Asian football. He joins the Yellow and Black who look to keep improving and find their way closer to the top half of the table.
