The 51-year-old speaks about making his coaching debut in India, singing for HFC, players at the club and more…
Panaji, Goa: Manolo Marquez, the head coach of Hyderabad FC, is one of the most experienced coaches in Indian Super League season. He has a mixture of promising youngsters and experienced players in his squad for the 2020-21 league campaign. He spoke about his plans for the club, his coaching philosophy, the players at the club and more, in a recent interview with Sportskeeda.
“I love football, I love to train and the chance to coach Hyderabad came. I was informed about the club and I liked the project. They started last season, and they need time. I like these kinds of challenges,” Manolo said, speaking about taking up the coaching stint in India.
“But the most important thing for a coach is to be fair to everyone and that is very difficult. This is one of the reasons that I prefer not to single out any player because I think that the entire squad has to feel that they are an important part of the club,” he added.
