A talented goalkeeper, Gurmeet Singh has spent the last three seasons in the ISL and will look to provide more competition for a place under the bar in the first team at Hyderabad FC. He featured eight times for the Highlanders last season keeping two clean sheets and joined Hyderabad FC last season. He made his debut for the club late in the 2021-22 season as Hyderabad FC went on to lift the ISL trophy. However, Gurmeet announced himself in the Durand Cup 2022, and has since cemented his place in the first team, after an injury to Laxmikant Kattimani last season. He was impeccable on goal, conceding just 14 goals in 16 games, keeping nine clean sheets in all competitions. He was called up for his maiden National Team camp in June 2023 after the impressive stint and will look to continue the good form with Hyderabad in the 2023-24 campaign!
