A gifted footballer who started his career at the SAIL Bokaro academy in Jharkhand as a kid, Mark Zothanpuia is one of the many promising youngsters currently at Hyderabad FC. He was a regular for Chanmari FC in the Mizoram Premier League and was also a part of the U18s at FC Pune City for a couple of years. The Mizo-born midfielder joined the reserve side and made impressive contributions in the I-League 2nd Division, the Durand Cup, the IFA Shield and other crucial tournaments, also acting as the captain of the reserve side before being promoted to the senior side. Mark has since made nine senior team appearances after signing a long-term contract with HFC and will look to secure a place in the starting XI in the 2023-24 ISL campaign.
