A vastly experienced goalkeeper, Subrata Paul has been one of the consistent performers in the Indian football circuit over the last fifteen years. Having won the IFA Shield at the Club level in 2013, Subrata has amassed 67 caps for the Indian national team winning the SAFF Championship once and Nehru Cup twice. In fact, when Subrata was the goalkeeper for the Indian team when they won the AFC Challenge Cup which was hosted in Hyderabad in 2008. His performances under the bar against Asian heavyweights Australia and Korea Republic during the 2011 AFC Asian Cupin Qatar earned him the nickname ‘Spiderman’. The goalkeeper also won the prestigious Arjuna Award in 2016.
