Cy Goddard completes Hyderabad FC move

The 27-year-old winger joins the Nawabs as first foreign recruit of the season

Hyderabad: Hyderabad FC have completed the signing of winger Cy Goddard, the club announced on Wednesday..

The former ISL winner joins the Nawabs as their first foreign recruit, ahead of the 2024-25 league campaign.

The London-born winger spent his early days with the Tottenham Hotspur academy, developing his skills in the U18 and U21 sides in his home-town.

The 27-year-old has since played in Italy, Cypriot, Australia and the USA while also featuring in successful spells in India as well.

Goddard did the double in the ISL with Mumbai City and has one goal and five assists in 33 league appearances.

He spent the last season with Odisha FC, where he scored in their AFC Cup campaign and now spearheads the Hyderabad FC attack in the upcoming campaign.
