Coach Shameel speaks to the media ahead of #HFCKBFC
Hyderabad FC are back in Indian Super League action at the Maidaan this Wednesday.
The Nawabs host Kerala Blasters in what will be the last league game of the 2024-25 ISL campaign.
Hyderabad FC Interim Coach Shameel Chembakath is confident that his side will work hard to finish the season on a high.
He spoke to the media at the pre-match press conference ahead of the game against the Blasters.

On the recent results…
We are all really disappointed with the result in the last game. But we want to move on, focus on the upcoming game and put in a strong performance to try and finish the season on a positive note.
On the challenge against the travelling Blasters…
Kerala are a strong team but we know that we have the quality to compete with them. This is a really important game for all of us and the players are determined to play to our strengths, stay organized, and fight for a better result in this game.
They are may be, not really an aggressive team that likes to press. They are more a team that are compact, and keep their shape. We have analysed their style of play, are ready to take on this challenge and get a better result tomorrow.

On his thoughts on the 2024-25 season…
From the start of the season, we have made plenty of progress as a team. It has been a great learning experience for everyone at the club and we know that there is always room for improvement.
We want to focus on the same, keep growing, keep building and be a stronger team when we go into the next season.
On the need to master in-game management…
Like I always mention, game management is very important for a team. The players need to understand how to manage situations in a game, how to control the tempo and things like that, which are really important.
I think my team has improved in this area recently and we like to work on it as well in training.
On what is ahead of his side…
We have had a lot of ups and down. We have made a lot of progress, have been consistent at times, but we know that there are a lot of things to learn and lot of places to improve on.
But we can promise that the fans can see us as a team that will keep working hard and improving, with an aim to get better results and find more consistency next season.
