HFC vice-captain heads to Qatar with the Blue Tigers
Hyderabad: Nikhil Poojary was named in the final 26-man Indian National squad for the upcoming Asian Cup scheduled to kick-off on Friday, January 12, in Qatar. The right-back who has been an integral part of Igor Stimac’s squad in 2023 will be making his debut in the continental show-piece.

The Blue Tigers have been drawn in Group B alongside Australia, Uzbekistan and Syria and will begin their campaign against the Socceroos at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, Al Rayyan on Saturday, January 13.
