Playing in their first SAFF competition with the national team, Sana and Yasir were both instrumental in helping India turn into 8-time SAFF Champions.

Yasir, who was in fine form throughout the campaign, registered an assist in the final as India beat Nepal in convincing fashion. Chinglensana was a part of the backline that stood strong and registered a clean sheet to wrap up the tournament.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad FC’s contribution to the national team continues in the form of youngsters Akash Mishra, Aniket Jadhav, Asish Rai and Rohit Danu who will represent India at the U23 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers in the UAE.

The team has already reached Dubai and will kick off their campaign on October 24, against Oman.
